We are bringing you an event report from "Dollismplus-Tokyo-2017," which was held on (sun), October 1st.
This year's Dorhythm event will be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
This year, many Maker and dealers will be participating in the event,
The venue was filled with excitement as approximately 1,200 people attended.
47 types of dolls exclusive to the event venue were exhibited under the museum concept.
72 types of discontinued and re-released dolls and 23 types of basic dolls are all breathtakingly beautiful.
Many visitors enjoyed looking at the dolls gathered together up close.
From the opening until the end of the event, the venue was bustling with visitors.
The exhibition area and dealer booths came to a close with great success.

It was a hot, sunny day, and many visitors lined up before the doors opened.

The entrance has a striking contrast between the red carpet and the black partitions.

The spacious "Maker Booth Area" will be centered around the "Costume Maker /Dealer Booths," which have been expanded this year, and will also feature a DOLK shop and a break space.
Additionally, there was an exhibition space for the highly anticipated "Attack on Titan" Levi doll, and in the one-off exhibition area within Maker booth area, many visitors enjoyed looking at the dolls on display up close.

In 2017, DollismPlus Tokyo was attended by 24 major Maker from Korea and China.
There were several Maker participating in Dollism for the first time this year, and many visitors were looking forward to seeing the actual dolls that the participating Maker had on display.

The distribution of numbered tickets began at 9am, and many doll fans flocked to the venue.

Costume Maker and dealer booths were a huge success again this year!
We made the aisles around the dealer booths wider than last year to make it easier for participating dealers to see their works.

The doll display stands are all in black, creating a beautiful museum-themed event space.

After the doors opened at 11am, many visitors looked with great interest at the various dolls on display.

▲Aileen Doll exhibition space
The AileenDoll exhibition space features all of the dragons that were only available in the past.
The exhibit was well worth seeing, with its beautiful sculptures, featuring cute dragons, griffins and other creatures with unique and adorable deformations.

Among the dolls on display, the limited edition BJD CROBI dolls were particularly popular.
In addition to re-releases of previously discontinued limited edition products, the beautiful jewel-themed dolls newly designed for this event boasted an unparalleled level of perfection.

▲BLUE FAIRY exhibition space
This year's Blue Fairy features two limited edition Little Red Riding Hood themed characters.
The space, which beautifully displayed the two of them in intricately detailed limited edition costumes and event-only make-up, was transformed into a mysterious space that made one feel as if they had wandered into a fairy tale land.

▲Charm Doll and LOONG SOUL DOLL exhibition space
Chinese Maker Charm Doll and LOONG SOUL DOLL are two brands run by the same sculptor with different concepts.
Many visitors looked at the exhibit with interest, featuring dolls from Maker that they don't usually have the opportunity to see up close, from large dolls to small dolls.

This year, eight limited edition dolls based on the concept of "a young lady living in a mansion and the maid and butler who serve her" were released exclusively for the event.
There were limited edition figures for sale, as well as costumes sold separately, and the elegant, transparent designs and displays characteristic of the company created a beautiful finish that seemed like another world.

▲DEAR MINE exhibition space
DEARMINE, which sells a wide variety of adorable animal dolls, has re-released past limited edition dolls as well as new event-exclusive collaboration dolls.
Among the items on display was the popular cat doll Picasso, whose beautiful handmade makeup was of extremely high quality.
It seemed that many visitors couldn't help but smile at the sight of the event-exclusive Picasso spinning around on the rotating display stand.

Doll Chateau, a popular Chinese Maker known for its unique concept dolls such as four-legged and spider-sheep, exhibited a number of popular basic dolls, including limited edition dolls that were previously sold in limited quantities.

This time, the concept is "Underworld" and popular limited edition dolls are featured with new limited edition makeup and costumes in a beautiful yet dark world view with themes of vampires, hunters, priests, etc.
The deeply chiseled, beautiful dolls showcased the beautiful craftsmanship that is typical of Thai doll Maker.

DollsheCraft, Maker Maker we just started handling this year, made their first appearance at the event with their beautiful, realistic dolls.
The impressive-sized dolls, decorated with makeup exclusive to the event, were a sight to behold.

▲Doll Zone exhibition space
Chinese Maker DollZone will be releasing event-exclusive collaboration dolls, including discontinued dolls that were previously released in limited quantities, and the popular cat doll "MiniKitty" in a new limited skin color.
Among the exhibits, the discontinued mermaid-like Frieda and Sawarieda were particularly large, and many visitors took commemorative photos of them.

▲GRANADO exhibition space
Following on from last year, Chinese Maker GRANADO has unveiled two popular "pirate"-themed collaboration dolls exclusive to the event.
The limited edition costume set was made with great attention to detail, and the two figures were finished with event-exclusive makeup, giving them a new and fascinating look.

▲LINAchouchou exhibition space
The popular Maker LINAchouchou, who did not participate in last year's event, released their popular doll Gloomy Lavinia as a venue-exclusive doll this year.
The limited edition black dress set gives her a more mature look than ever before.
At the exhibition booth, the limited edition makeup was also very impressive, as it created a cute shape but a dignified expression.

This year's LITTLE MONICA consists of five limited edition dolls.
These popular beautiful dolls were given limited edition makeup that was different from the usual, allowing you to enjoy their even more beautiful shapes.

▲LUTS exhibition space
The long-established Korean Maker LUTS brought one collaboration doll exclusive to the event, as well as eight dolls that were previously sold in limited quantities, all gathered at the event venue.
LUTS releases many dolls, and this was an opportunity to see all of their most popular limited edition dolls together, with many visitors captivated by their beautiful, well-formed designs.

In the summer of 2016, MYOU DOLL, which DOLK had just started selling, unveiled its first venue-exclusive doll at Dollism Plus Tokyo.
Last year, MYOU DOLL had a great display of basic dolls, but this year, it seemed that the two popular dolls with event-exclusive makeups left a lasting impression on visitors.

Peaks Woods, a popular Maker that rarely has the opportunity to re-release these dolls, has gathered together some of the most popular beautiful girls and boys from their past limited edition dolls.
The lustrous sculpture and delicate makeup even on the fingertips allowed the doll to reproduce beautiful movements regardless of its gender, making for a very impressive exhibition booth.

We have gathered all of our beautiful male dolls, including discontinued dolls, past limited releases, and even some of our most popular basic dolls.
Among them, Misha, a limited collaboration doll with DOLK, showed off her gorgeous appearance in a limited edition white outfit.

Korean Maker RSDOLL is re-releasing the event-exclusive collaboration doll that was sold exclusively at Dollism last year, as well as releasing a 40cm version of the popular beautiful boy VERROKY for the first time as a completely new event-exclusive collaboration doll.
The Monochrome VERROKY White Skin, a cross-dressing version of VERROKY exclusive to last year's Dollrhythm, was so beautiful that many people were in awe when they realized it was a boy doll.

SOUL DOLL, known for its realistic sculptures and gorgeous costume sets, showed off the impressive beauty of five popular dolls that were previously released in limited quantities.
Many visitors were captivated by the stunning finish that is typical of SOUL DOLL, who are particular not only about the realistic Doll but also about the costumes they make.

SPIRIT DOLL, which has a beautiful yet dark worldview, has released five popular basic dolls as well as an event-limited collaboration version with the popular SnowDrop.
Many visitors seemed surprised by the large size of Doll, which is difficult to convey just by looking at a photograph.

SWITCH, a popular Korean Maker that DOLK only started carrying in May this year, will be participating in Dorhythm for the first time.
Furthermore, many visitors were seen fascinated by the gorgeous display of popular dolls that were previously released in limited quantities, decorated with event-exclusive makeup.

Seven popular limited edition dolls that were previously released appeared at the event venue.
The most popular item was the 16cm size mascot doll, with many visitors drawn to its cuteness and the fluffy texture of its fabric.

Among DOLK's character dolls, the underground mall version of Levi doll, one of the most popular, was on special display.
The beautiful head sculpt, new makeup that depicts Levi in his younger years, and a high-quality costume set including accessories all make for an appealing finish.
