To create a three-dimensional figurine based on Nekosuke's illustration, we asked Peipei, who has worked on sculpting works by famous artists both in Japan and abroad, to create the 3D prototype model.
Peipei's delicate sensibility, technical ability, and high-resolution imagination allowed him to create a stunning prototype with highly accurate modeling, even down to the back of Nekosuke's fantastical illustration.

A figure sculptor living in China.
After graduating from university, he majored in modeling and worked as a figure sculptor. He has worked on numerous projects, including three-dimensional versions of works by famous illustrators, and has received acclaim both in Japan and overseas.

For this work, based on the delicate and high-density 3D prototype data created by Peipei, mamoru was in charge of coloring, carefully interpreting Nekosuke's illustration and the fantastical and somewhat mystical worldview of Miss Kitty. Rather than simply applying color, the color design was done with an awareness of the atmosphere and narrative of the illustration.
Without losing the charm of the flat illustration, it has been elevated to a sculptural expression that allows you to feel the worldview even when you actually hold it in your hands.
