A

  • Eye Fixing Sculpey
    This is the general term for eye fixing products. There are two types: eraser type and clay type. It is also called Sculpey.
  • Eye hole
    This is the space on the back of the head where the eye is attached. The size and design vary depending on the manufacturer.
  • Acrylic Eye
    These acrylic resin eyes come in a wide variety of styles, from realistic to cartoony, and are relatively inexpensive.
  • Color transfer
    If you dress the doll in dark colored clothing, the color may transfer to the doll's body. In the case of Cast doll, if it is in the early stages, it can be removed with a melamine sponge.
  • S-hook
    This is an S-shaped hook that connects the tension rubber that runs through the doll, which is made of stainless steel or other materials, to the parts.
  • S-hook pull
    This is a tool used to pull the S-hook on the inside of the neck when removing the head from the body.
  • Yellowing
    This is a phenomenon in which resin cast products turn yellowish due to aging. The cause is believed to be ultraviolet rays and high temperatures.

  • Forceps
    This is the name of the tool that clamps and fixes the tension rubber. It is shaped like scissors, but the blades are serrated, making it look like a pair of radio pliers. It is also called a clamp.
  • Kipps
    It prevents joints from slipping. By placing it between the neck and head, on the shoulders, elbows, ankles, etc., you can improve the ability to hold poses.
  • Glass Eye
    A general term for glass eyes. Some have tracking capabilities, and compared to acrylic eyes, the pupils are set further back, giving a more realistic impression. They also come in a wide variety of colors and variations.
  • string puller
    This is a tool used to pull and pass new tension rubber through when replacing the tension rubber that connects the body.

  • Silicone Cap
    This is a silicone cap to hold the wig in place. It also prevents color transfer from the wig cap (the fabric inside the wig).
  • certificate
    Please keep the purchase certificate issued by our store as it is required when receiving after-sales service from the manufacturer.
  • Styling products
    These are styling products for doll wigs. There are "oil mist" to give shine and smoothness to straight wigs, and "wax" to give curl to the ends of the hair.
  • Sponge file
    This is a file with an abrasive bonded to a hard sponge. Because it is a sponge, it is suitable for polishing curved surfaces. It is useful for removing parting lines and dirt that cannot be removed with a melamine sponge.

  • Pursuit
    This is the state where dolls with glass eyes appear to be looking at you from angles other than the front. When viewed from the side, glass eyes with high peaks and a pale iris are easy to follow.
  • Tension rubber
    They connect the parts of Cast doll together and hold the joints in place, playing the same role as tendons and muscles in humans.
  • dome
    This refers to the peak (bulge) of the pupil of the eye. Depending on this height, the fit with the eye socket will vary.
  • Doll Stands
    Many dolls can stand on their own, but they are unstable, so if you want to make them stand, you will need a doll stand. There are saddle type and hip clip type, and the saddle type is less noticeable for skirts and kimonos, while the hip clip type is less noticeable for pants, so it is suitable for taking photos.

  • Neodymium magnets
    These magnets are used for doll head covers and parts, etc. They are the strongest permanent magnets and are also called neodymium magnets.

  • Parting Line
    This refers to the appearance of linear protrusions (burrs) caused by slight misalignment of the mold when pouring resin into the mold. They appear on the sides of doll bodies and parts.
  • Flat Feet
    Also known as "flat feet." This is the part of the body below the ankle that fits into regular shoes.
  • Heel Feet
    Also known as "heeled feet." These are the body parts below the ankles that are mainly worn with girls' high-heeled shoes (pumps and boots).

  • Melamine sponge
    A hard sponge abrasive made from micro-foamed melamine resin. Suitable for removing dirt such as grime from hands.

  • Resin Eye
    This is the general term for eyes made of urethane resin, etc. They are resistant to yellowing, and can be filled with pearl-like powder or metal parts, and some eyes are even capable of tracking vision.
